Our friends at Art Helps Heaps have curated a new project of artist designed t-shirts with 100% of the net profits from the shirt sales will go directly to Children’s Medical Research Institute/Jeans for Genes. We took a deep dive last year into the The A’ Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award 2022—2023 winners, and we really loved this category again in 2023-24 and wanted to share some winners once again! We need good graphic or visual communication projects so remember the call for entries is here. A good visual commincation is the key to life, that’s we always say. And wow, Paul Robb made some great typefaces this year. 

We’ve covered painting shows and murals going on in London this week, but this could one of the big winners: Japan House London is hosting Looks Delicious!, a show exploring the Japanese phenomenon of “shokuhin sanpuru – the unexpectedly realistic food replicas displayed in front of restaurants across Japan.” The exhibition gives each of Japan’s 47 prefectures representation with “a food replica specially commissioned from the world-leading manufacturer Iwasaki Group.”
